Samantha Haycock, Chaplain
Samantha Haycock is the Episcopal lay chaplain to the University of Arkansas and coordinates young adult ministries with St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville. Samantha holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Samantha has a passion for spreading Jesus’ call for social justice. She helps people to make connections between their daily and spiritual lives so that they can bring their whole and authentic selves to the world. She is currently working in writing a sexuality education curriculum for Episcopal Church Publishing, serving on the EYE Planning Team, and helping to plan the 2017 Forma Conference. Samantha enjoys concocting strange things in her kitchen and hiking all over the place.
Rev. Dr. Lora Walsh, Priest
Lora teaches classes on Women & Christianity and the Late Middle Ages at the U of A. Lora is dedicated to young adult ministry, contemplative spirituality, building inclusive communities, and walking to work whenever possible. Before moving to Fayetteville, Lora directed the ESC program in Chicago, earned her PhD in Medieval Christianity, and served as a Jesuit Volunteer in Kathmandu, Nepal for two years. Born in Montana and raised in Arizona and California, Lora loves camping and hiking in most every landscape, and she is getting to know the Ozarks. Lora and her husband Josh have a son named Zadok and a daughter named Aletta.
