We believe that in the Eucharistic prayer, the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ. There are multiple opportunities each week to attend and participate in the Eucharist. In the Episcopal Church, all baptized Christians regardless of age or denomination are invited to receive Communion. Tuesdays at St. Martin’s: Tuesday evening is our main night of programming at the St. Martin’s Center. As a eucharistic community, we gather for Holy Communion at 5:15, followed by a home-cooked dinner and conversation at 6 pm. You are of course free to attend whichever portion of the evening you are able to! Eucharist @ 5:15 pm Dinner and Conversation @ 6:00 pm Wednesdays at St. Paul’s: Members of the St. Martin’s community are warmly invited to attend Wednesday evening programming at St. Paul’s Church downtown (224 N. East St.)! Supper @ 5:15 pm Eucharist @ 6:00 pm Sundays at St. Paul’s: Sunday is the traditional day for Christian worship. Eat breakfast at St. Paul’s Church downtown and join for one of four distinct worship offerings. If you need transportation to church, please be in touch with the Chaplain.
