Worship
“I will praise my God while I have my being” Psalm 104:34
Worship, and particularly communal worship, is an important part of living out our lives of faith. St. Martin’s provides opportunities for gathering together for worship, as well as resources to support your personal life of prayer.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion, the Holy Eucharist, the Lord’s Supper, the Mass: all these are words that describe the gathering of the community to worship God through prayer, scripture, and the sharing of bread and wine. We believe that in the Eucharistic prayer, the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ. There are multiple opportunities each week to attend and participate in the Eucharist. In the Episcopal Church, all baptized Christians regardless of age or denomination are invited to receive Communion.
Tuesdays at St. Martin’s:
Tuesday evening is our main night of programming at the St. Martin’s Center. As a eucharistic community, we gather for Holy Communion at 5:15, followed by a home-cooked dinner and conversation at 6 pm. You are of course free to attend whichever portion of the evening you are able to!
